Creating a dashboard to collect real-time data within the Volvo business family. This data gathering platform was created to work on the ‘Shop Floor’ and was designed to be operated by service engineers to take the journey of the vehicle servicing journey.
Management dashboard was able to track, manage, and report real-time data to a central point to identify user habits and customer satisfaction to identify opportunities for improvement and KPI tracking.
The ability to take key KPI business metrics from the ground up is incredibly important to our business. We are very happy with the on-going performance of the platform.
To create this Vehicle handover dashboard the first task was to identify and define the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) required to complete this project. Consulting with key stakeholders through delivering discovery workshops enabled the creation of lo-fi wireframes of the dashboard design.
Gathering key data points and creating a tone of voice then drove the data display style, enabling the creation of great data visualisation. Key agile process feedback delivered throughout each design and build stage. The UX/UI design goal was to deliver easy-to-understand business intelligence in a clear and engaging manner.
